urllib3 is now part of the Tidelift Subscription

urllib3 is a Python HTTP library with thread-safe connection pooling, file post support, sanity friendly, and more. Seth Larson and Andrey Petrov will be providing assurances for urllib3 as part of the Tidelift Subscription.

With nearly 200 million downloads from PyPI last year, urllib3 is the 6th most downloaded Python package, used ubiquitously across the ecosystem. Many of the most popular Python libraries depend on urllib3 to support their HTTP requests, including requests, botocore, tornado, and docker-py.
