Don't miss the latest from Tidelift

SockJS is a browser JavaScript library that provides a WebSocket-like object. SockJS gives you a coherent, cross-browser, Javascript API which creates a low latency, full duplex, cross-domain communication channel between the browser and the web server.

With over 4 million downloads per week, SockJS is a critical component to the Node ecosystem. It is used by over 147,000 open source repositories, according to Libraries.io, including popular projects such as React, Storybook, Gatsby, Angular, and Webpack.

We are excited to have core maintainer Bryce Kahle will be providing assurances for SockJS as part of the Tidelift Subscription. With the Tidelift Subscription, you can get support for SockJS and your whole dependency tree.

If you’re interested in learning more about how Tidelift can help keep your application healthy, check out our free dependency analyzer to get a snapshot of your most critical unmaintained dependencies.
