Don't miss the latest from Tidelift

A few weeks ago, Tidelift co-founders Jeremy Katz and Luis Villa joined our friends over at the Sudo Show podcast to talk all things open source, securing code, and paying the maintainers.

Jeremy and Luis explain where the idea for Tidelift came from and how they’ve discovered they’re both “people people” now—a fun side effect of founding a company.

The goal at the inception of Tidelift: find a way to get open source maintainers paid for what they’re doing and additionally make open source better for the enterprise customers using it. Jeremy and Luis dive into the details of how the Tidelift model works and what makes it different.
